Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 19, 2026
Vogt Innovation Group LLC ("VIG," "we," "us") builds sovereign AI systems and custom software. We believe your data is yours — not ours, not a third party's, and definitely not an ad network's. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What We Collect
When You Visit This Site
- Page views: Which pages you visit, when, and your referrer URL. We use our own first-party analytics — no Google Analytics, no third-party trackers, no cookies for tracking.
- Technical info: Browser type, device type, and screen size. We use this to make the site work well, not to build a profile on you.
- Nothing else: We don't use tracking cookies. We don't fingerprint your browser. We don't sell data. Period.
When You Contact Us
If you use our contact form or email us, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your message content
- Any additional info you choose to share (company name, project details, etc.)
We use this solely to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our services.
When You're a Client
If you engage VIG for consulting or software development, we may also collect:
- Business name and contact information
- Project requirements and specifications
- Payment information (processed securely through our payment processor — we never store card numbers)
- Any data you provide for the purpose of building your software
How We Use Your Data
- To respond to inquiries and provide the services you've requested
- To improve our site using aggregated, anonymized analytics
- To send you project updates if you're an active client
- To comply with legal obligations if required by law
We do not use your data to:
- Serve you ads
- Build behavioral profiles
- Sell to third parties
- Train AI models (ironic, we know — but your data is yours)
Data Storage & Security
- Contact form submissions are processed via Resend for email delivery
- Analytics data is stored on our own infrastructure — not in any third-party cloud analytics platform
- Client project data is stored in accordance with your service agreement
- We use HTTPS, security headers, and follow standard security practices
Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, we respect these rights:
- Access: Ask us what data we have about you
- Correction: Ask us to fix inaccurate data
- Deletion: Ask us to delete your data (we'll comply unless we have a legal obligation to retain it)
- Portability: Request your data in a standard format
- Objection: Tell us to stop processing your data for specific purposes
For California Residents (CCPA)
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of — but the right is yours.
For EU/UK Residents (GDPR)
Our legal basis for processing is either your consent (contact form) or legitimate interest (site analytics). You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
Third-Party Services
We use minimal third-party services:
| Service | Purpose | Data Shared | |---------|---------|-------------| | Vercel | Site hosting | Standard server logs | | Resend | Email delivery | Contact form submissions |
That's it. No analytics platforms, no ad networks, no social media trackers.
Data Retention
- Contact form data: Retained for 2 years after last contact, then deleted
- Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized, retained indefinitely
- Client data: Retained per your service agreement, deleted upon request after project completion
Children's Privacy
We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We'll update this page when the policy changes. We won't send you a 47-page email about it — just check back here.
